Making A Purchase

Could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then The Plumbing Shop will not be bound to honor any orders made at that price

Delivery Schedule

We aim to ship orders with in the time scale shown next to all the products listed on the website Please note these are aims and we are unable to guarantee this as a fixed time scale Items that are special orders would have a time scale advised by email or phone.

We advise against booking trades for installations until the goods have been received. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.

Please note we are unable to ship fragile ceramic sinks or glass items out of United Kingdom

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Cooling off Period

Consumers have a cooling off period in which they can withdraw from the contract for any reason. The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made and ends seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods. In the case where the product has been shipped the normal returns policy would be in place.

All product(s) must be in a resalable condition in which case we will be happy for these goods to be returned subject to a collection/courier service. This will be deducted from payment. Restocking charge is 15% on opened items. Restock may not be charged in all cases. Please refer to the returns policy listed below.Please note that if you return the goods within 7 days in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations then no restocking charge will be made.

Faulty Goods

Please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs.Do not remove any fitted items that are deemed faulty until you have contacted The Plumbing Shop Ltd.

In many cases the manufacturers provide an after sales team of engineers who will come out and fix any problems that you may have with their products. If such a service exists we will provide you with the telephone number of the manufacturer's after sales team 02380 382835 and to speed up the process you can make the necessary arrangements directly with them. In the event that you are not satisfied with the service they provide then please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve any problems for you.

Where this service is not available then will arrange for the collection and the redelivery of the replacement goods within 12 months of delivery. The Plumbing Shop ltd will not be liable for any costs incurred with removal or refitting of faulty items

In any case we cannot accept liability for damages or errors if goods have been fitted. Damage, faults or errors must be reported via email within 3 working days to . We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
